• Age 24 to 35 years

• Must have the mentality to work with very poor people at the field level Must have the mentality to work under extreme pressure Must have the mentality to work anywhere in Bangladesh where ESDO has microfinance programs.
• Must have experience in bi-cycle and motor cycle driving. Preference will be given to holders of valid motorcycle driving licences.
• 300/- (Three Hundred) Rupees worth of non-judicial stamp undertaking by an appropriate surety at the time of joining the service.
• At the time of interview, the original certificate should be shown and at the time of joining the job, the original certificate of all educational qualifications should be submitted to the Human Resource Department.
• 2,500/- for the basic training of the finally selected candidates will have to undergo the training.

Responsibilities & Context

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) is a non-governmental development organization accredited by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. ESDO started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision of building solidarity towards the poor and marginalized. Being a people-centred organisation, ESDO envisioned a society free from inequality and injustice. ESDO has been implementing various activities/projects for social development and skill development. ESDO is currently working for overall development of 10 million extremely poor people in 331 upazilas of 51 districts of the country.

Disbursement of loans, collection of installments and admission of new members to select members for the team and after the selection is completed inform the branch manager and complete the team formation by receiving clearance.

• After completion of the team formation process, starting weekly savings. Carrying out the duties of certain number of associations according to the volume of affiliated branches and associations.
• While managing the team regularly, collecting installments of savings and loans as well as discussing various socio-economic issues such as education, health, nutrition, family planning, environment etc. Writing and signing team resolutions in weekly meetings.
• In case of disbursement of loans, the borrowers are initially selected by the selection committee and presented for approval.
• Ensuring daily 100% collection. Signing the regular office attendance register and signing the movement register when going out of the office. Reporting according to the specified table to ensure whether the borrower is using the money in the actual sector or not.
